Products from a PDF catalogue
Where it is available, upload a PDF catalogue for a category and it is read into draft products for you to check. Nothing is added until you confirm it.
Where: Supplier portal → Upload many products → Read it into drafts
Steps
- Open Upload many products and select Read it into drafts.
- Choose the category and your PDF (up to 30 MB), and select Upload and read.
- Wait a few minutes while it is read. You can leave the page and come back.
- Open each product found. Each answer shows the page and text it came from; answers marked Check this were hard to read.
- Correct anything wrong and select Confirm and add as a draft, or Discard this product.
- Add photos and anything missing in the product’s editor, then submit it for review as usual.
Good to know
- The first 60 pages are read, and up to 50 products are found in one PDF.
- You can read one PDF at a time, and five a day.
- Products you haven’t confirmed or discarded are removed after 30 days.
- Photos in the PDF are not taken: add them in the editor, so they can be checked like any other.
